Evan and I hiked to Rachel Lake today. He carried up a 15 pound raft too!! Yay!! The hike was maybe 4.5 miles to the lake, and it took us 2 hours and 12 minutes to get there. Then I put on anything to cover me up to get away from the MOSQUITOES!! Ugh, they were just awful! But once on the lake, the breeze kept them away, basically. And soooo relaxing and wonderful to float around! It really was a super gorgeous wonderful day! It took us 55 minutes to get back to the car. This was even Evan's kick off hike for his hike a thon this month to support the Washington Trails Association! GO Evan! And thanks for such a great day!Sunday, August 03, 2008
Rachel Lake Rafting
