Lake Serene is awesome. Went with Patti and Rick from my hiking group. 7.2 miles round trip (+ one mile to and from Bridal Veil Falls) with 2200 foot elevation gain. 2 hours 10 mins up, 2 hours down with 20 minute side trip to the falls. No camping allowed here. Truely serene. Beautiful spot! Had lunch on "lunch rock" and fed the chipmunk peanuts.

More and more cool pics from awesome hikes. Your summer is really turning out to fun! Ok those pics of the flowers were awesome. You are officially better at flower pictures than me. :) I am so glad you finally made it to Lake Serene. When you go back again, get someone to haul a raft up for you. It is truly awesome fun. :D
