Palouse State Park in Eastern Washington is quite remarkable! I can't even believe this is in the middle of the desert, but it is!

Point of the Arches in Olympic National Park
I went on another awesome coastal backpack this weekend. This is the Point of the Arches at sunset. The tide pools here are absolutely amazing. I took tons of pics, as usual, of all sorts of sea life.
To get here you have to park (for $5.00/day) on the Makah Reservation, hike about 2 miles in the forest, then another 2 miles on the beach to the point, which takes under 2 hours. Be sure to get there at low tide!!

August 2006 - Blue Angels and Home to NH (MA and VT too)
Here I am ontop of Mt. Chocorua in New Hampshire with my high school friends, Dave and Shell! Awesome.
These past few weeks I was in Seattle for two days and got to see the Blue Angles. Then I left for New Hampshire and got to see all sorts of friends and family! Hooray! Click on this pic for pics of all these things. :)

The Narrows in Zion National Park
Here I am hiking through the Virgin River in the Narrows in Zion National Park. This was the most amazing and grueling experience EVER. After this accomplishment, I now know I can do ANYTHING! Mindy, Bobbi and I totally rock. Click on this pic for more pics!
And by the way, I think Half Dome was a piece of cake compared to this!
